Did you see the Ruxton's place on the news last night? We are happy to be back at school today after our first two snow days for 2015!
Wellington Camp 2015
On Monday the 18 of May Jade, Charlotte, Miss Allan, my Dad and I flew
out to Wellington for our senior camp. We were staying at a place called
Dwellington.
Every day we were busy going to places like Parliament, Te Papa, Weta
Workshop, Zoo, Adrenaline Forest, Cable Cars and the Great War Museum.
I would like to thank Miss Allan for all her hard work and all the
people that did fundraising to make this year’s camp AWESOME. By Ben
Wellington Camp 2015
On Monday last week we got up early to go to the
airport, there I met up with Charlotte, Ben, Ms Allan and Mr Joyce. We then
boarded our plane to go to Wellington for the week, it was my first time on a
plane and I really enjoyed it.
We went up Mount Wellington in a cable car, we also went to
Carter Observatory. We went to Te Papa and Weta workshop and went swimming, the
pool was warm. My favourite thing that we did was the war exhibition because it
was interesting, and Adrenalin Forest because it was high up and I like
heights.
I had a really great time and I was really tired when I got
home. I would like to thank Ms Allan and Mr Joyce for coming with us and making
it so much fun.

Calibrating Clocks
Today in maths, the Year 5-7s made minute timers with water and milk bottles, this was a tricky experiment to complete! Jade and Ben got the closest with a timer that ran at 58sec. Do you think you could do it?!
