                                                Destroying Mt Williams

On Tuesday we started to do some experiments. Our experiment was to make a mountain with sand, dirt, gravel and clay. Then we made it in to the shape of a mountain. Lastly we showed how erosion changed the shape of our mountain to the class. Our question was "what washed away first?" and it was the top. Another question  was what was the strongest part of a mountain and it was the bottom because  it was way more compact and had more support.

cavalcade

On Friday the 27th of February we held up the Cavalcade at Lee Flat and the Tisdall's woodshed. We collected $384.40, 4 pears and a lolly.
There were a lot of cowboys, cowgirls and a few Indians. We were grateful for the amount of money we got and thank you to the lovely Cavalcaders. We will use the money for equipment for our school.

Some of the money we got.

Farm safety at Outram school

On Thursday 27th we went to Outram School to learn about farm safety.
We learnt about chainsaws, motorbikes, tractors and lots more other activities.
We had 7 stations to go to. Lee Stream kids and Outram kids were mixed. Each group had and Outram teacher and some groups had Lee Stream teachers. Max Jack and Jor'jah were able to jump in the pen with the calves and separate them. We also learnt about different hazard signs and what they mean. We enjoyed our time but when it was time to say goodbye the fun was over.
